When thinking about which social media you can use to promote your business and generate leads, I’m pretty sure that Pinterest isn’t among the first platforms that comes to your mind.
There’s something you should know, though: if you aren’t using Pinterest, you’re missing out on big opportunities to promote your business, grow an audience and generate leads.
You see, Pinterest is one of the fastest-growing social media platforms and the second largest driver of social media traffic (after Facebook).
Think that visual content on Pinterest drives traffic days, weeks and even months after it has been pinned! 40% of the clicks on Pinterest happen the first day an image has been pinned, 30% of the clicks after the first 2 days and 30% after 3 or more days.
40% of the clicks on Pinterest happen within 1 day, 30% within the first 2 and 30% beyond 3 days.
Pinterest isn’t just about wedding dresses, food and women’s shoes anymore. It has become a very powerful tool and Pinterest marketing is something entrepreneurs and small business owners shouldn’t overlook.
Some people, when looking for something, even use it before actually doing a Google search.
But how can you create a Pinterest profile that not only stands out, but that actually helps you grow your audience, drive traffic to your website and generate leads?
To discuss all that, I went and reached out to none other than visual storyteller, podcaster and Pinterest marketing expert Jeff Sieh! He joins us to talks about the dos and don’ts of Pinterest marketing, his content promotion flow, traffic-driving and lead-generation tips, and much more.
