In the last episode of the 360 Entrepreneur Podcast, we were joined by lifestyle entrepreneur, business coach and best-selling author Jesse Krieger to talk about how to build a book-based business. According to this Forbes article of February of last year, 19.5% of the books sold in the U.S. were kindle titles. Ebooks now make up about 30% of all book sales, and Amazon has a 65% share within that.

By looking at these stats it’s crystal clear: if you are planning on being a self-published author, you have to be on Amazon.

But how to do that? With hundreds of new books released every week, how can we bring our title from our tiny office (or basement!) all the way to Amazon’s top rankings?

Nick, who has been featured in the likes of the New York Times, Entrepreneur, TEDx and Fortune, is also the host of award-nominated The Side Hustle Show.

The author of several books, Nick has been a speaker at events like Author Marketing Live! and the Branding Summit.

He joins us to talk about how to launch a successful kindle title. He shares a ton of valuable tips, from the common launch mistakes indie authors make to what he considers the author’s #1 job during the book launch.
